Abode of Gods- Chamoli is a district of Uttarakhand state of India. Chamoli is the birthplace of world renowned Chipko movement(to save trees). According to Hindu mythology Lord Hanuman found the Sanjeevani (medical herb) here to help Laxman regain his consciousness. Its has immense scenic landscapes, pilgrimage centers and cultural importance.
