Roopkund is a mountain lake, located in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. The edges of the kund are covered throughout the year with ice. Lake treak is known for the human skeletons found througout the treak. No one knows why these skeletons are there but thats the reason why Roopkund is also known as Mystery lake.
