Brelengi Gompa, Reckong Peo
Brelengi Gompa is a fine example of modern Buddhist architecture. It is located in Brelengi village near Reckong Peo. A very impressive big statue (about 10 m high) of the standing Buddha located close the monastery.

Key Monastery, Spiti Valley
Key Monastery is also known as Kye Monastery or Kye Gompa. This is one of the most famous monasteries in Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. It is located on top of a hill at an altitude of 4,166 meters above sea level, close to the Spiti River. Key Monastery is around a thousand years old and is the largest monastery in Spiti Valley.
Tsuglagkhang Complex and Namgyal Monastery, Dharamsala
Tsuglagkhang Complex is the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The complex is located near Mcleod Ganj and is surrounded by the forest of pine trees. Nearby is Namgyal Monastery which is the place to have some peaceful time away from the city.
