Located in Bhutan, Gangkhar Puensum is the world's highest unclimbed mountain. Bhutan government has banned climbing on mountains more than 6000 meters in 1994 respect to local spiritual beliefs, and then banned mountain climbing completely in 2003. If Bhutan doesn’t change their mind about climbing it will stay as the highest unclimbed mountain in the world.

2. Muchu Chhish (7,543 m), Pakistan

Located in the Pakistan, Muchu Chhish is a remote mountain of the Western Karakoram. Although not very well known it has the, sometimes disputed, the title of being the highest unclimbed (legally accessible) peak in the world.

Karjiang I is an unclimbed mountain due to its extremely technical and avalanche prone areas. Located in Tibet Karjiang require exceptionally well-climbing skill to reach the top.
